Annual Report

Thanks to the great generosity of our benefactors - alumni, loyal friends, parents, faculty and staff - the Pontifical College Josephinum has enjoyed another wonderfully successful year of preparing competent, holy priests to serve the Church and the world. The inspired mission of Monsignor Joseph Jessing continues to bear fruit for the sanctification of God’s people and the salvation of souls. The Josephinum is deeply committed to maintaining and promoting the good stewardship, financial stability and transparency that will enable us to prepare our future shepherds in the best possible environment for prayer, study, recreation and discernment.

As a pontifical institution, the Josephinum is proud to serve dioceses and religious communities in the United States and the Church abroad. Although it has direct ties with the Holy See, the Josephinum is self-supporting and receives no financial support from the Vatican, nor is it dependent on any one diocese or religious community. The seminary is largely sustained by the support of loyal alumni and friends; we rely constantly on your prayers and generosity. Since its founding in 1888, more than 1900 priests have been ordained from the Josephinum; currently, alumni serve in 48 states and 18 countries.
